Welcome to the East of England Tourism Awards 2024-2025

The annual competition sets out to champion our very best tourism and hospitality businesses, celebrating quality, innovation and best practice from across Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk. 

In association with Visit East of England, in partnership with VisitEngland,  the awards competition remains open for applications until Sunday 15 September 2024. 

We have 13 categories open for entry:

Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Award 

B&B and Guest House of the Year            

Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year

Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism Award sponsored by Swiss Camplings

Experience of the Year   

Large Hotel of the Year sponsored by Ensors Chartered Accountants

Large Visitor Attraction of the Year sponsored by Howes Percival

New Tourism Business of the Year            

Pub of the Year

Self Catering Accommodation of the Year 

Small Hotel of the Year

Small Visitor Attraction of the Year           

Taste of East of England Award

All eligible applications are assessed and scored through two rounds of independent judging, which may include a site visit, with finalists in each award category being announced in January 2025. 

A glittering black-tie event will follow in February 2025 where the industry will come together to celebrate all our finalists and announce our regional winners. 

The top three businesses in each category will then move on to compete with other areas of England for the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, the most coveted accolade in English tourism.
