Established in 2010, NOR-CON Comic Con began as a humble fan event in the University of East Anglia’s Lower Common Room. What started as a passionate, grassroots gathering has grown year on year, evolving into one of the most respected and well-loved conventions in the UK. In 2012, we moved to the Holiday Inn at Norwich Airport, a sign of things to come. Today, NOR-CON proudly fills the Norfolk Showground’s Indoor Arena and surrounding outdoor areas, welcoming around 7,000 attendees over an action-packed weekend.

Our continued growth is fuelled by community spirit, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to delivering a high-quality, inclusive experience. We’ve expanded to host a wide variety of traders, intricate exhibits, and exciting interactive zones. Our celebrity guests offer fans unforgettable moments, while our diverse programming ensures there is something for everyone.

What truly sets NOR-CON apart is our heart. Every member of our team is a volunteer, and many have been with us since the very beginning. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and belief in the power of fandom have helped build NOR-CON into more than just a Comic Con—it’s a vibrant, welcoming celebration of imagination and community.
