The North East England Tourism Awards play a major role in showcasing the fantastic range of high-quality experiences we offer for visitors here in the North East, and that’s why we have designed 3 additional local categories for the 2025 Awards.

The core awards have had a hugely positive impact on tourism in the North East, providing a benchmark for all businesses to aspire to and delivering significant benefits to shortlisted and winning businesses alike. Our local categories expand the boundaries of which businesses can enter the awards to give even more regional tourism superstars the chance to shine and celebrate their achievements.

Please note that these awards are not linked to the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence and winners will not progress to the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence. You may also not enter anybody who has already been entered in the Unsung Hero Award.

The deadline for submissions is December 2nd at 5pm
