Upton is the UK’s premier free-admission blues festival, held annually in this quintessentially English riverside town.

The event stages over 190 gigs over the six days of non stop music. The carnival atmosphere is reinforced by “sideshow” attractions such as a RAF Memorial Flight Fly Past, an American classic car show and a land train to transport visitors across town.  There are also street food outlets and other stalls clustered near both outdoor stages, while our main street is a magnet to buskers.

Festival-goers can pay to stay on the camp site across the bridge with luxury toilet / shower facilities and security. Many arrive midweek and stay until early the following week for the full festie experience.
